The Motic® Panthera D is a true ‘smart’ microscope, distinguished by its remarkable variety of built-in digital capabilities. Its Smart CAM digital head and the ImagingOnDevice System simplifies daily work by allowing the user to directly connect their microscope to an HDMI screen and interact with it using a mouse. Panthera D users can also connect the microscope to a tablet running the Panthera App and the LAN port offers the option of running a DigiClass, or remote image sharing. Beyond its digital capabilities, the Panthera D has an astonishing list of premium features. These include a rackless mechanical stage, interchangeable LED/Halogen illumination sources, and a wide variety of available contrast techniques.
In addition, The Panthera D features Motic® LightTracer technology, enabling the user to make customized lighting presets for each objective. Other premium components include Infinity Corrected Plan UC Achromat objectives, a .90/1.25 Abbe condenser, and an LED coded nosepiece to indicate light intensity. What this amounts to is a microscope which can yield images of astounding quality.

Siedentopf Observation Tube
The Panthera D’s Siedentopf observation tube is designed with an ergonomic viewing angle of 25° and incorporating an interpupillary distance of 48-75mm. The Panthera D's observation tubes guarantee fatigue free viewing for hours. Large field of view (22mm) enables fast and comfortable screening of specimens. The trinocular tube allows digital documentation and integration to a wide variety of digital cameras.

Eyepieces
The UC eyepieces are made of high quality optical glass and have a high-eyepoint for eyeglass wearers. The eyepieces provide consistent diopter adjustments for both eyes. This enables perfect usage of reticles for measuring, counting, etc. The new UC eyepieces feature a 20mm field of view.

Reversed Quintuple Turret Revolving Nosepiece
The Panthera D has the capability for mounting up to five quality objectives. Precision positive click-stop mechanism ensures precise alignment of objectives.

Objectives
To provide overall optical performance of the Panthera D, Motic® introduces a newly designed generation of Plan UC Achromatic Objectives made of high quality optical glass (Pb free): CCIS®. The new UC lenses are multilayer coated for improved contrast to enhance images even with weak slide staining. Also available is a 100x/0.8 dry lens for oil free observation. All have standard RMS thread.

Fine/Coarse Coaxial Focusing
The brass, coaxial fine and course focusing mechanism uses a precise and reliable triangular rail system featuring adjustable tension. The focusing range is 25mm with minimum increments of 2µm.
Condenser
To ensure the best possible illumination quality, the Panthera D condenser is a full Koehler type, N.A. 0.90/1.25 Abbe with slider slot.

Illumination
The Panthera D features Motic’s new integrated intellligent illumination system. The Light Tracer system combines a digital multi-function knob, a coded nose piece and an LED feedback indicator. The automated light management is controlled by the multi-function knob. It is responsible for adjusting the light intensity and works with coded nose piece to memorize the illumination for each objective position. The Panthera D 3W LED illumination offers two options; 3500K or 5500K. Perform BF, PH, POL, DF, FL and MMC contrast techniques.

Digital Documentation
Includes integral 4MP SmartCAM and ImagingOn Device system. Take advantage the full HD image quality by adding an HDMI touch screen monitor or a wireless mouse if needed. To work via Wi-Fi, download the free Panthera App. Scan the QR code on the head of the microscope and the Wi-Fi enabled device is connected with the image from the microscope.
