NEW JCM-7000 Stage Adapter Kit Available



A wide range of PELCO® Sample Holders have been designed especially for use in the JEOL NeoScope™ Benchtop SEMs. These holders enable easy mounting of a wide variety of specimens for NeoScope™ SEM users. To use these sample holders, the standard stage adapter needs to be replaced by one of the NeoScope™ Stage Adapter Kits. There are two kits available: one that is compatible with the JCM-7000 (#15398-7000), and another that is compatible with the JCM-6000 and JCM-5000 (#15398).

The wide range of PELCO® Specimen Holders allows for investigation of a greater variety of specimens. Easy mounting of specimens make the NeoScope™ Benchtop SEM more productive and accessible to more applications. There are also adapters available to accommodate pin stubs mounts which are used in other scanning electron microscopes. Cylinder mounts with the M4 threaded holes fit directly on the adjustable height pillars. This enhanced versatility allows users of the NeoScope™ Benchtop SEM to share specimens mounts used on other SEM platforms.

We also offer standard 25 and 32mm JEOL cylinder mounts, which can be used on the sample holders supplied with the NeoScope™ Benchtop SEMs.

NEW JEOL JCM-7000 NeoScope™ Stage Adapter Kit

The JCM-7000 NeoScope™ Benchtop SEM Adapter Kit includes two different length pillars (23 and 38.1mm) whose tops are fitted with M4 screws. Any of the M4 threaded sample holders or stubs (if dimensions are compatible with SEM) can be attached to these pillars. The height of the sample, plus holder, above the stage adapter should not exceed 50mm. Therefore, the choice of pillar length would depend on sample height, with shorter samples needing the longer pillar and taller samples the shorter pillar. The pillars go into the stage adapter and are held by a set screw so that the height can be adjusted. A height gauge is also included with the kit to verify the sample is at the correct height. A separate M6 adapter is included so that the stage adapter can be used with the optional threaded rods, #15373-2, 15365-2, and 15374-2, for further versatility.

JEOL JCM-5000 & JCM-6000 NeoScope™ Stage Adapter Kit

The JCM-5000 and JCM-6000 NeoScope™ Benchtop SEM Adapter Kit needs to be fitted on the NeoScope™ specimen stage to enable using the PELCO® specimen holders. The adjustable height pillars allow for easy height adjustment needed for the JCM-5000 and JCM-6000 NeoScope™ SEMs. The top of the adjustable height pillar is fitted with an M4 screw, so any holder or mount with an M4 threaded hole can be mounted as long as the total height of the stage adapter, pillar, specimen holder and sample does not exceed a total height of 50mm. Just make sure the top of the specimen is level with the top of the height gauge supplied with the stage adapter kit and the specimen will fit into the NeoScope™ SEM.
