Magnification Calibration Calculator #253

Use with Products #673, 674, 677, 677-AFM, 677-STM.

This calculator is used to calibrate electron microscope magnification from the pattern of a 2000 lines/mm diffraction grating specimen.

Number of Spaces MM Magnification
2000

Instructions:
  1. Decide number of spaces of the replica pattern to be measured. (A greater number of spaces gives higher accuracy)

  2. Measure the distance between the limiting lines of desired number of spaces of the replica pattern (mm)

  3. Put the number of spaces and distance into the corresponding places, then click "Calculate" to calculate the magnification
Example: If 10 spaces of the replica pattern is measured 42.5mm, the magnification is x8500.
