Laboratory grade aluminum foil with a thickness of 0.001" (25µm) (double the thickness of common household type foil). Can be used for temporary covering of instruments, shielding in vacuum equipment, packaging, wrapping, weighing boats, etc. 12" (305mm) wide roll with a length of 250' (76m) of soft annealed aluminum alloy 1235 with a nominal composition of 99.35% Al, 0.05% Cu, 0.05% Mn, 0.1% Zn, 0.05 Ti and 0.65% Si. Core ID is 3" (76mm).
Black aluminum foil eliminates unwanted reflections and masks light leaks. A black paint coating on both sidse enables this foil to absorb light. Aluminum is alloy 1100 soft tempered. Available in 12" wide rolls of 10 ft; thicknes is 0.002. Core ID is 3" (76mm).
Stainless steel foil with a thickness of 0.002" (51µm) can be used for shielding in high vacuum application, heat treatment, weighing boats, etc. Soft annealed corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel withstands higher temperatures than aluminum and is UHV compatible. 12" (305mm) wide roll with a length of 10' (3m). Core ID is 3" (76mm).
Convenient size pre-cut aluminum foil sheets for general laboratory use: weighing samples, covering labware, etc. Three sizes available: 4" x 4" x 0.001" (102 x 102 x 0.025mm), 6" x 6" x 0.001" (152 x 152 x 0.025mm), and 8" x 8" x 0.0015" (203 x 203 x 0.038mm). Sold in packages of 500.
