New Collection of Sales Tax

Redding, CA (Dec. 21, 2018)—The 2018 Supreme Court Wayfair decision cleared the way for States in the USA to levy their own taxes on goods purchased outside the State and delivered into the State. Each State has their own rules as to whether or not sales tax is charged; what rules govern whether a company should collect sales tax from a customer in that State; and what the tax rate should be for any particular address. Please consult your State tax authority for an explanation of the tax rate for your address. We will be actively working with our tax exempt customers in States where tax must be collected to receive tax exemption certificates, to make sure we’re only collecting what tax is due.
