Redding, CA (July 11, 2016)—Ted Pella, Inc., is announcing this week it has hired David Rollings who joins the company as Vice President of Marketing & Sales.

Rollings completed his college work with a Master of Science degree in Metallurgical Quality Control from Brunel University in the UK and on relocating to the USA completed an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Illinois.

He worked for Buehler for a total of 26 years where he served in progressively more responsible roles in technical sales, as a Product Specialist, as a manager of Special Products for Europe, as Product Manager for microscopes and digital imaging systems in the USA, as Director of eBusiness and Customer Service, Director of International sales and customer service and finally as Vice President of Sales. More recently Rollings has served as General Manager for PRESI, Inc. USA, and Vice President of Business Development for Advanced Abrasives, Corp.

In addition, Rollings has served as the Finance officer on the BoD for the International Metallographic Society (IMS) since August of 2011. He has also served as the Membership chair for the Heat Treat Society (HTS) since May 2013 and is active at the chapter level of ASM International.
